Generation gap: an example

Dear students,

As part of this introductory Unit, I was reading this text about the Generation Gap when strong winds came through the window and scattered some of the words. Dear students,

I am very excited to welcome you to the new blog of the Old & New project! As you already now, the Old & New project is an English Department's initiative for both classes of 2º Bachillerato in the I.E.S. do Petroglifo.

The Old & New project addresses the generation gap existing between grandparents and grandsons through a particular topic: migration. Students involved in the project are required to produce in small groups a short documentary depicting two types of emigrants: at least one person who emigrated from Spain in the 50'-60's and at least another emigrant who has left Spain in the 2000's.
